Logs improvement
The Logs interface is really clunky. The filters are not very intuitive and the search function is not very good. Also, the logs only show a few particular examples rather than a comprehensive list. There's no way to know many failures from a certain domain, for example. It doesn't display pages or anything.

Make Suppressions export reports sortable by Date, or output in usable format
The Bounced report has date output like this "Mon, 11 Jan 2021 22:41:05 UTC
". The dates are not in order, and it is not easy to get programs like Excel to recognize this text as a sortable date.Either output the dates in a format that is easy to work with in Excel (even if that means adding a separate date column without the time to the report), or sort the report by date/time. Yes, I could write a program to parse the date, but that seems like too much work to make your customers suffer through as compared…

Apply substitutions to BCC of Bulk Email
When doing Bulk Email with recipient variable substitutions, those substitutions are not applied to what is sent to the BCC address(es), so instead of getting a copy of what was actually sent to each of the normal recipients, the BCC is just the template.
I can imagine a variety of reasons why this might happen, but cannot come up with a reason why anyone would want it to work this way.

Set Preview Text in MG Drag and Drop Template Builder
There currently is no option to set preview text in the MG template builder. This would be helpful so that the customer doesn't have to set this manually
5 votesHi all, We are adding the ability to add subject, from address, reply-to address as well as preview text headers directly to a template.
This will allow you to send a message using the API by providing only the "to" and "template" parameters.
We expect to release this in early Q4 of this year.

Set send limit per domain
It will be great if you add the ability to set a maximum number of messages that an specific domain can send each month, and also send notifications to the account admin about domain reaching limits. This will allow to have control over the sent messages.
At this time une domain can consume all the plan and cause over charges.

Add support for macros in DNS SPF records
Currently, DNS SPF records using macros will not be automatically approved by mailgun. Some mail services (like valimail.com) use macros to avoid the SPF character limit.
Example:
v=spf1 include:mydomain.com.nspf.vali.email include:%{i}.ip.%{h}.ehlo.%{d}.spf.vali.email ~all5 votes -
Increase max attachment size
Can we have options or features to allow the change of email attachment size accordingly.
For now, its limits to 25, but we look forward that we can adjust it accordingly to our policy but ensure within acceptable global standard such as 50MB.

Entri DNS Validation
I would like Mailgun to integrate Entri into the platform for easier DNS validation. Entri will allow for the needed Mailgun DNS records to be easily added to a clients domain registrar by providing them an Entri link, where they sign into their domain registrar for authentication, then automatically add the Mailgun records.

IPv6 support
We are running out of IPv4 addresses, and while the world is (slowly) working on supporting IPv6 (which is also an internet standard since 2017) Mailgun remains behind.

Webhook security
Webhook security
I am concerned about the security risks involved in using your service. I would appreciate it if you could consider implementing some of the following suggestions:
- Use a more specific user agent than "go-http-client" to identify your requests.
- Provide a list of verified IP addresses that you use to send webhooks, so that I can restrict access to my server with a firewall.
- Use a dedicated IP address or a domain name to send webhooks, instead of a shared one.
- Then you might even verify yourself to cloudflare (to be recognized as known bot)
These measures would greatly…

View SMTP username associated with message in APIs and logs
Please consider adding SMTP username to the Events API so the authenticated SMTP account associated with each message can be retreived.
An account with multiple SMTP users currently has no way to reliably determine which SMTP user was used to send a given message.
Sender address does not necessarily match SMTP user as this can be altered in the email header and Mailgun allows sending as any address as long as one is authenticated.
This might help address some other open suggestions as well. Thank for considering!

Configuration to Send or Restrict emails from specific SMTP User
The requirement to send emails to only specific domains under the particular SMTP user.
For example, an application using Mailgun configuration will trigger emails to @gmail.com, @yahoo.com, @hotmail.com, etc., domains.
But Mailgun needs to allow send emails only to @gmail.com and restrict sending emails to other domains.Mailgun should have a feature to configure domains for both restricting and allowing for sending emails under a particular SMTP User.
